I have had a similar problem recently.I ordered a hat sometime in beginning of September.

I emailed around the beginning of October to confirm my orded was still "in process." I received an email saying that it was still in the cue. However, it is now mid October and I finally emailed to ask if it would arrive I time for halloween. The customer service answered that the fulfilment time is unknown since they still dont have the item in stock. Great....

no halloween hat..

now what?I am just annoyed that there was no attempt to communicate so that I wiuld have sufficient time to order another hat without having to do rush shipping.
